Vasterbotten like elsewhere in Sweden we have new environmental
legislation that has as its main goal to guarantee living and future
generations of human beings a healthy, good environment in which to
live.

 The
Swedish Parliament has established 15 objectives for environmental
quality that describe the qualities our environment and our common
natural and cultural resources must have in order to be |
|
ecologically
sustainable. The overall aim is for us to be able to hand over a
society to the next generation in which the major environmental
problems have been solved.

Wild
animals in Västerbotten
Västerbotten
County stretches from the sea to the mountains. In between there are
forests. There are many wild animals in the county, both common and
more rare. There is a zoo in Lycksele where you can see, among other
things, wolves, musk-oxen, wolverines and other exciting animals.
