Umeå firm pilots Top of Sweden exhibition at World's Fair in Hanover

The world's fair Expo 2000 Hanover is going to be the biggest ever and Sweden's six northernmost counties will be represented with the slogan "Culture, wilderness and High-Technology through Four Seasons".

Nolia from Umeå has been selected as project co-ordinator for the exhibition, which will be held in the Swedish Pavilion between 16 and 22 October. The exhibition will market the region by emphasising the areas of Forestry and Timber, Tourism and Export Industries.

Nolia makes things happen
Nolia is jointly owned by the municipalities of Umeå in Västerbotten and Piteå in Norrbotten and has excellent facilities in both locations. It is the largest fair and exhibition centre in Northern Sweden making it one of the most important meeting places for business contacts in the North. More than 200,000 people meet there annually to exchange experiences and develop. Nolia manages and hires out premises for fairs, seminars, conferences, short and recreation activities, as well as arrange fairs. Since most of their fairs are checked by the Scandinavian Fair Control, activities, localities and service are of the highest quality. Service and flexibility are keywords in the organisation's mission statement. As a rule, from 5 to 500 people can easily be seated at conferences at Nolia in Umeå. And thanks to their flexibility up to 3,000 people can be accommodated. For industrial fairs and exhibitions Nolia in Umeå can also offer over 12,000 m2 indoor floor space to exhibitors.
